Your virtual learning environment is based on Moodle, an open source programme, that has been tried & tested by many educationalists all over the world. We set up your ready-to-run website & then you set up & run your courses with a few clicks. User friendly, clear & very easy for all.

Entry to all of your courses is through the front page of your site. Students log on & go to their specific course, entering a special course key to gain entry. There are different permissions for the admin, course setters & teachers. Using the different modules within each course, you can carry out a host of educational tasks with your learners:

Assignment, Chat, Choice, Dialogue, Exercise, Forum, Glossary, Journal, Lesson, Quiz, Resource, Survey, Workshop

There is no limit on the number of courses you can run. As you become more familiar with what you can achieve with the courses, you will find that they become an indispensable part of the products you are offering to clients.

• Set up of the Moodle installation(1)
• 1GB web space for your courses(2)
• 10GB bandwidth per month - both of these limits should be more than sufficient for many courses running concurrently each month.
• either a custom address - www.yourname.com/ or a subdomain of our Developing Learners.com address - www.yourname.developinglearners.com (3)
• set regular backups of the databased course information

(1) Moodle is free open source software, and we do not charge for the Moodle system.  The cost of the package will pay for the web hosting, domain name registration, bandwidth, and for the installation of your Moodle website on our Linux servers.
(2) The Moodle installation is included in the 1GB..
(3) If you already have a website & would like to continue with that identity for the online support, you could register a new domain name to keep in line with this eg. www.myoriginalname-online or www.myoriginalname-courses
We would host this new domain & you link to it from your existing site.

There is an extra charge for Moodle theme customisations.

If you require domain registration, & would like us to sort it out for you, there is a charge of $20 per year for a '.com' domain name.
If you use a custom address, you would need to point the domain name to our nameservers. The propogation typically takes 24-48 hours.
